We are a single form entry school with a refurbished EYFS unit. We also have a very popular Nursery where we are able to offer between 15 and 24 hours for children aged 3 plus. Many of our children start their Education here.
Our website aims to give you a taster of the school, as well as providing up to date information for parents, pupils and the wider community.
Headteacher's WelcomeI am delighted to introduce myself as the Headteacher of Fox Hill Primary School, and on behalf of the governors and staff, I would like to welcome you and your child / children to Fox Hill Primary School.
Fox Hill is an exciting and successful school and we are incredibly proud of the achievements of all our children and staff. Our many achievements stem from our vision to ensure that together, we deliver the most inspiring and nurturing school experience, where every child can thrive, believe in themselves and be supported to succeed beyond their expectations.
We believe in providing an education that begins with values and character, and ends with every child succeeding. Our school values of Kindness, Curiosity, Self-belief and Pride ensure high aspirations for all children and enable everyone to enjoy learning in an inspiring environment, where we are challenged to achieve our best in all we do. This commitment was formally recognised in our most recent Ofsted inspection, graded 'Good', with 'Outstanding' features, for our fantastic Personal Development offer.
We take great pride in our school, resources and attractive grounds. Recent developments include a transformed school library, the creation of a dedicated Nurture provision, and the refurbishment of our Nursery. We are also delighted to have recently opened the Fox Hill Farm, home to our two pygmy goats, Biba and Zara, which further enriches our pupils’ learning experiences.
We are a nurturing and inclusive school, and understand that children thrive when they feel safe and cared for. Committed on our journey to provide an inspirational school experience for all, we hope that your child / children will be extremely happy here as part of the ‘Fox Hill family’.
