We believe in providing an education that begins with values and character, and ends with every child succeeding.
At Fox Hill Primary School, our decisions, behaviours and actions are values-driven. Our school values are at the core of everything we do. They underpin our teaching and learning, and provide an environment which prepares our pupils as confident, happy citizens.
At Fox Hill Primary School, every individual is valued for who they are and what they contribute to the school. We believe in providing an education that begins with values and character, and ends with every child succeeding. Our values are intended to support the personal, social and spiritual development of every pupil throughout the school.
The whole staff team, governors, parents and pupils are involved in promoting our values. Our Fox Hill family values have been selected after consultation with pupils, staff, governors and parents as values which are important within the school community and which will be important throughout life.
Our Values:
Kindness
Curiosity
Self-belief
Pride
Kindness: we educate our children to look after the environment, be sensitive, accepting and caring towards others and respectful of diverse beliefs, ethnicity and lifestyles. We welcome and value everyone's contributions, including parents and the local community, as partners in education.
Curiosity: we provide an exciting and challenging curriculum matched to the needs of the child to develop confident and independent lifelong learners. We teach our children to be curious about learning, the world and each other.
Self-belief: we nurture resilience, confidence, courage and positive attitudes to learning through enjoyment of school life within a happy, safe and caring environment.
Pride: we encourage the children to always try their best, reach for the stars and be aspirational in all they do by celebrating their achievements. We nurture the children to have pride in themselves, pride in others and in the school community.
